About Live For Today

 

"On September 11th, 2009, my doctor told me I had cancer. This came as a complete shock to both me and my family. As a 18 year old kid who always ate right, exercised and avoided drugs and alcohol I never expected this to be the news I receive after going in for a routine checkup. At that point, I knew my life would never be the same.

I was prescribed three rounds of chemotherapy. I was told to come in Monday - Friday for seven hours a day. Thankfully for me, my condition was treatable. However, during my time as a cancer patient, I met dozens of people who weren't as lucky. I saw people from all walks of life. I saw people of different races, different ages and different social backgrounds. Cancer doesn't discriminate.

Seeing those people and hearing their stories changed me in a profound way. Many of these individuals were much worse than me, but still had so much heart and strength. Even though they were diagnosed with a lethal disease, they still tried to make the best out of every day. That's where the name Live For Today comes from. Every one of those people lived out their days as if it was their last, because for some of them, they weren't sure if it was or wasn't." -Frankie Mariano



Live for Today is a clothing company based out of Pensacola, Florida. We donate all of our profits to the National Cancer Institute and St. Jude's Hospital. Although we are a small group, we have the heart and drive to do everything in our power to cure this disease that has plagued so many.
